Supplier Connect

Supplier Connect is the Spec Rep Help Desk outreach feature that lets architects request missing project-critical information directly from suppliers, without delays or back-and-forth.

It may be triggered either by our Spec Rep Help Desk Concierge chat interface or our SRHD Coworker (email)

  • An architect has asked us to contact you to request information such as:

    • Pricing / budget guidance

    • BIM / CAD files

    • Samples

    • Confirmation of product suitability, availability, lead times, or compliance documentation

    • The email is generated by our AI and sent on behalf of the architect.

    • The architect is always copied in, so your reply reaches them directly.

    • You can simply reply to the email thread with the requested information (or a best next step).

    • Supplier Connect emails are only sent to companies on our whitelisted supplier list.

    • Supplier Connect is only triggered when a user explicitly requests it as part of their workflow in Coworker or SRHD chat.

    • The email is designed to be clear, respectful, and easy to action, with the goal of reducing admin time for your team and speeding up specification support.

    • It is not a marketing blast.

    • It is not a lead-scraping tool.

    • It does not send attachments from the architect (and the AI cannot read attachments, images, or videos).

  • Supplier Connect emails are sent from concierge@specrephelpdesk.com.

  • You can hit Reply All, but we won’t respond (it’s a one-way address and replies aren’t monitored). Best practice is to reply to the architect directly via the email address that’s CC’d in the message.

  • Architects use Spec Rep Help Desk because they need fast answers to keep projects moving. Speed is essential, so please respond as quickly as you can. Even if you can’t provide everything immediately, a same-day acknowledgement with a clear timeframe is extremely helpful.

  • No. There’s no cost to receive and respond to Supplier Connect requests. It’s simply a faster way for architects to reach the right supplier contact and get project-critical information quickly.
